Cultural & Inclusion Infrastructure

As part of our Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion strategy, we have developed a multi-level governance infrastructure to anchor the work throughout the entire enterprise. The C&I Executive Council is comprised of members of our Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and Senior leaders of the operation. The C&I Leadership Council is for Director level and above leaders that will help champion DEI at the functional level. The C&I Ambassador Network is for employees from all levels and functions interested in activating our numerous initiatives. This intersectional network provides an opportunity for our employees to engage in sustainable initiatives that promote operational and workplace inclusion.

C&I Executive Council

Objective:

Provide guidance and support to Employee Experience & DEI on enterprise C&I strategic direction.

C&I Leadership Council

The C&I Leadership Advisory Team is for director-level and above leaders who will help champion DEI at the functional level.

Objective:

Provide guidance and support to Employee Experience & DEI on anchoring direction in the operation.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Help anchor the DEI & Employee Experience strategy in respective lines of business
  • Monitor and validate metrics
  • Monitor and validate metrics
  • Provide feedback on operational DEI & Employee Experience issues
  • Activate strategy (Learning, Celebrations, etc.)

Members: Various AC Leadership roles in Corporate, Health Management, Home Health, Hospice, Medical Home Care, and Personal Care Services

C&I Ambassador Network

The C&I Ambassador Network is for employees from all levels and functions interested in activating our numerous initiatives. This intersectional network allows our employees to engage in sustainable initiatives that promote operational and workplace inclusion.

Objective:

Represent the voice of all line of business and support to EX & DEI anchor the DEI/EX strategy.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Serves as DEI change agent and cultural ambassador
  • Serves on projects ad hoc
  • Input into I&D initiatives and programs
  • Help anchor the DEI & employee experience strategy in respective lines of business locations.
  • Provide feedback to EX & DEI on DEI & EX issues
  • Activate strategy (Learning, Celebrations, etc..)

Members: Various employees from all lines of business. To become a member, employees must first speak with their direct manager and apply. Commitment is an 18-month term.

Committees:

Inclusion Calendar Committee

Partner with the comms team to develop and recommend ideas on engaging employees to bring the inclusion calendar to “life.” This may involve event planning, researching local events and partnering with local organizations.

Learning/Development Committee

The primary focus is recommending ideas on what learning initiatives would most impact the localization of training/development deployment approaches. May be asked to partner to facilitate training and or conduct focus groups.

ERG Committee

Responsible for developing a framework, structure, and deployment of ERG within the organization. Once deployed, may be asked to serve on ERG leadership teams.

Community Engagement Committee

Primarily focused on recommending community engagement opportunities and partnership that we could leverage cross LOBs and allow employees to participate in community related events. At times will also partner with the inclusion calendar committee.

Employee Engagement Committee

Primarily focused on advocating for engagement activities and being a voice of the larger employee base.
